Not sure why you would draw something like this. It is horrible. I know it is by Poe, but well...some things are better left unsaid/undrawn. I normally love your art, but this, well...I have seen MUCH better from you. Then again, I am an animal lover, cats especially, so this just makes me think of animal abuse...and makes me sad. Doesn't help any that I am sick, and so I am cranky...*l*

I love the story and I think the picture suits it perfectly. I'm not a fan of the grotesque but it doesn't keep me from seeing good technique and execution in a piece. What kind of paper did you use?
